I just read What I Saw and How I Lied last weekend, and couldn't decide how much I liked it. It was certainly compelling but not always believable, despite a weirdly convincing ending.
I've bought this book, but have not had time to read it or for that matter, Appelt's The Underneath which was a runner up.
